About the Artist

My love for calligraphy started at a young age when I first learned cursive. I always enjoyed creating new and fun ways to write. When a close friend of mine was getting married in 2003, she asked me to do the calligraphy for her wedding. It was at that point that Elegant Lines Calligraphy was born. Being able to offer this service to others and turning it into a business has been an exciting process.

I received my bachelors of Arts degree at the Ohio State University in 1999 and went on to pursue my Master’s degree in art education in 2003, also from Ohio State. In addition to doing calligraphy I am a full time elementary art teacher in Westerville, Ohio.
